Classes at Ux Dance Studios
Ux Dance Studios offers Ballet and Dance classes for children aged two upwards and for adults at the Uxbridge Community Centre. Classes follow the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance and offer the opportunity to take their exams.
Tiny Movers (1 & 1/2 - 3 years)
A session for 1 ½ - 3 year olds to prepare them for different kinds of movement, ranging from dance to a variety of sports. In this session, they will work on balance, coordination and agility skills. With the aid of different props and toys, gross and fine motor skills will be developed. This is a fun session in which parents join in and through play a variety of skills will be achieved.
Pre-Ballet (2 - 4 & 1/12 years)
This is a fun class for pre-school children, offering them the opportunity to get an introduction to movement and dance. We are working with props and fun music to help them develop basic movement skills.
Pre-Primary and Primary Ballet (4 & 1/2 - 7 years)
These classes are based on the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance and teach children movements and steps to help them develop coordination, balance and posture within a fun environment.
Grade 1 Ballet upwards (7+ years)
Grades 1 (and up to Grade 8) are structured ballet classes where students have the option of taking the exams of the Royal Academy of Dance. In these classes, we work on artistry and developing technique, musicality and performance skills.
This class is suited for anyone who has a passion in movement. No previous experience is needed, but if you are a more experienced dancer, you can also find challenges in this class. In this class, we work on posture, technique and artistry. Ballet is a great means to keep up your fitness levels.
